Dacula, GA – Car Accident at GA-316 & Hurricane Trl Intersection
Dacula, GA (April 28, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, April 28, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Dacula.
According to the Gwinnett Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-316 and Hurricane Trail. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes at the intersection for a period of time, which led to extensive delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
