Duluth, GA - Officers Investigating Car crash on I-85 at Steve Reynolds Blvd in Gwinnett Co

Dacula, GA (April 13, 2021) – At 4:51 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 13, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Dacula.

Gwinnett County officials confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of GA-316 and Harbins Road. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time, which led to extensive damages. Police urged those traveling through the area to use Highway 29 as an alternate route.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
