Cumming, GA – Car Crash on GA-400 Causes Injuries
Cumming, GA (October 25, 2021) – At 5:27 p.m. on the evening of Monday, October 25, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Cumming.
According to Forsyth County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of Keith Bridge Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
A red alert was issued in the area and all lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 9 as an alternate route.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
