Cumming, GA – Car Accident on GA-400 Near Pilgrim Mill Rd
Cumming, GA (July 15, 2021) – At 12:42 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 15, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Cumming.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of GA-400 around the area of Pilgrim Mill Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
One lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing at this time.
