Crandall, GA – Serious Semi-Truck Accident with Injuries on GA-411
Crandall, GA (December 20, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a semi-truck accident that took place on a highway in Crandall on the morning of Tuesday, December 20.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened around 11 a.m. on GA-411 around the area of Brush Town Road. Police confirmed that a semi-truck was traveling in the area when it was involved in a collision with one or two passenger vehicles. The semi-truck then caught on fire off the side of the road.
Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties, who have not yet been formally identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
A traffic alert was issued in the area and police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
