Truck Accidents in Georgia
Trucks are some of the largest vehicles on Georgia roads, which means that these accidents lead to some of the most extensive harm. In one recent year’s time in the entirety of the U.S., over 110,000 people were seriously injured as a result of truck accidents. These accidents have been happening more and more commonly on our roads due to the fact that more drivers have been hitting Georgia roads in the most recent years. Truck drivers are expected to abide by certain regulations and follow special safety on our roads, which is why these accidents do not happen as commonly as passenger vehicle accidents. However, this does not mean that these collisions will never occur. If you have been hurt in a truck accident, you should seek the immediate help of an attorney.
Georgia truck accidents happen every single year within the state. Truck drivers are expected to keep logs of what they do on our roads and how much time they spend on the roadways during work hours as well. Because truck drivers spend a long time on our roads, they are more likely to engage in distracted driving or even fall asleep at the wheel. This can put you in a challenging position if you are involved in an accident, as it is up to you to show that another party is to blame. Injured victims are urged to speak with a Georgia personal injury attorney who has their best interests in mind.
