Covington, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash at Youth Jersey Rd & PJ E Rd
Covington, GA (June 30, 2021) – On Wednesday, June 30, a three-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Covington.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened at the intersection of Youth Jersey Road and PJ East Road. Three vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of these injuries.
The roadway was completely blocked at the intersection for some time. Police urged those traveling through to avoid the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
