Covington, GA – Car Accident on Alcovy Station Rd Leads to Injuries
Covington, GA (July 8, 2021) – On Thursday afternoon, July 8, a car accident with injuries occurred on a roadway in Covington.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Alcovy Station Road around the area of Dally Road and Kraddle Creek. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the crash were severely damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
