Conyers, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-20 Near Salem Rd
Conyers, GA (May 4, 2021) – At 12:24 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 4, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Conyers.
According to Rockdale County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Salem Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
