Conyers, GA – Injuries Reported in Tractor-Trailer Collision on I-20
Conyers, GA (April 22, 2021) – On Wednesday, April 21, a tractor-trailer collision occurred on a highway in Conyers that led to injuries.
According to the Conyers Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of GA-20. Two tractor-trailers collided in the area for reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Injured victims were immediately transported to the hospital.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the eastbound lanes for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use alternate routes.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
