Conyers, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-20 Near Sigman Rd
Conyers, GA (July 13, 2021) – At 7:28 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, July 13, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Conyers.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Sigman Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
