Conley, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision with Injuries in EB Lanes of I-285
Conley, GA (August 8, 2021) – At 12:32 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, August 8, a multi-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer occurred on a highway in Conley.
According to officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Moreland Avenue. Several vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, became involved in a serious accident on the highway. An SUV slammed into the back of the truck, sustaining severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help. One or more victims were injured and taken to various hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the crash, the right lane of traffic was completely blocked for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
