Columbus, GA – Three Injured in Eight-Car Crash at Psalmond & Beaver Run Rds
Columbus, GA (June 4, 2021) – Around 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon, June 4, an eight-vehicle accident took place took place near an intersection in Columbus.
Officers with the Columbus Police Department were on the scene at Psalmond Road and Beaver Run Road in Columbus.
Seven separate crashes occurred with a total of eight vehicles involved. CPD Chief of Staff, Katina Williams, said there are four power lines down as well.
Three victims sustained injuries and two were transported via ambulance after suffering serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
