Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia
Pedestrian accidents are some of the most severe and life-altering accidents that take place on our roads each year. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have virtually no protections from harm in accidents involving any type of vehicle. In 2021, it was reported that approximately 348 people were killed in Georgia pedestrian accidents and many others received serious injuries. The truth is, pedestrian accidents can be prevented but continue to occur due to the reckless acts of others. Being hurt in a pedestrian accident can be a life-altering situation that leaves you feeling helpless and alone. This is why speaking with an attorney can help you get back on your feet.
Being harmed in a pedestrian accident can be a difficult thing to endure. You may wonder where you can turn after one of these accidents, which is why you should speak with an attorney that you can trust. An attorney is especially necessary in your pedestrian accident claim if you have sustained serious injuries, such as the following:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Organ damage
- Paralysis
These injuries sometimes land victims in the hospital and cause them to miss out on time in the workplace. If you have been hurt in a pedestrian accident, you should speak with a Columbus personal injury attorney that you can trust.
