Columbus, GA – One Killed in Fatal Car Accident on Victory Dr
Columbus, GA (May 20, 2021) – On Wednesday evening, May 19, a fatal car accident occurred on a roadway in Columbus.
According to Columbus deputies, the accident happened on Victory Drive around the area of 30th Avenue. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to unknown reasons, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. One person, identified as a 92-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not known if anyone was injured due to the accident.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
