College Park, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision with Injuries on The Perimeter
College Park, GA (May 12, 2021) – At 1:22 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, May 12, a tractor-trailer collision with injuries occurred in College Park.
According to local officials, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of The Perimeter around the area of Riverdale Road. A tractor-trailer and two or more passenger vehicles collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in one or more lanes for a short period of time.
