6/3 Marietta, GA – Car Accident with Injuries at GA-41 & Bells Ferry Rd

College Park, GA (May 6, 2021) – At 2:40 a.m. on Thursday morning, May 6, a car crash took place on a highway in College Par.

According to Atlanta officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of The Perimeter happened at Riverdale Road just south of the airport. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time. Police urged those in the area to use I-85 as an alternate route.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
