College Park, GA – Car Accident on I-285 Near Old National Hwy
College Park, GA (June 13, 2021) – Around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, June 12, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in College Park.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Old National Highway. Several vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to assist those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the crash, multiple left lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
