Clermont, GA – Car Accident at Clermont Hwy & Dahlonega Hwy Intersection
Clermont, GA (December 11, 2021) – At 3:46 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, December 10, a car accident with injuries occurred in Clermont.
According to Hall County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Clermont Highway and Dahlonega Highway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was completely blocked in the area of the intersection. Police urged those in the area to use Kenimer Road as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
