Clermont, GA – Bicycle Accident with Injuries at Main St & King St
Clermont, GA (July 24, 2021) – On Saturday, July 24, a bicycle accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Clermont.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Main Street and King Street. A bicycle was traveling in the area when a passenger vehicle going through the intersection struck the bicyclist. The bicyclist was thrown onto the ground as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The bicyclist, who has not yet been formally identified, received a broken leg due to the accident. They are expected to make a full recovery.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
