Clayton, GA – Two Injured in Car Crash on Luther Owens Rd
Clayton, GA (April 21, 2021) – According to police, a car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Clayton that injured two victims.
According to the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Luther Owens Road. A Land Rover Discovery was making a U-turn in a private drive on the roadway when the driver’s brakes failed. The vehicle went down a nearby embankment, where it struck a large tree.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. Two injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to Mountain Lakes Medical Center. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
