Clayton, GA – Serious Motorcycle Accident at GA-15 & Cross St
Clayton, GA (September 3, 2021) – On Thursday, September 2, a motorcycle accident occurred at an intersection in Clayton.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-15 and Cross Street. A couple was riding on a Harley Davidson in the area when they collided with a Hyundai Santa Fe at the intersection. The motorcycle struck the rear of the vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. The male driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The female passenger was also hospitalized but has been listed in stable condition.
The driver of the Hyundai remained at the scene and was not injured.
Police confirmed that the intersection was blocked for a period of time following the accident.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
