Clarkston, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at E Ponce De Leon Ave & Brockett Rd
Clarkston, GA (September 27, 2021) – At 3:12 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, September 27, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Clarkston.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of East Ponce De Leon Avenue and Brockett Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene. Police urged those in the area to use Church Street as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
