Chickamauga, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident on GA-27 & Twin Cedars Rd
Chickamauga, GA (July 28, 2021) – At 1:22 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 28, a tractor-trailer accident occurred in Chickamauga.
According to Walker County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-27 and Twin Cedars Road. A tractor-trailer and multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they became involved in a collision with one another. The truck sustained severe front-end damages as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. It is believed that their injuries are serious in nature.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
