Chatsworth, GA – Two-Vehicle Injury Crash at GA-225 & Maple Grove Church Rd

Chatsworth, GA (October 25, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at a Chatsworth intersection on Sunday evening, October 23.

According to Murray County officials, the accident happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of GA-225 and Maple Grove Church Road. Police confirmed that a black sedan and a red pickup truck were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide. Both vehicles sustained front-end damages as a result of the crash.

Murray County responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. Several parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The unidentified victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in several lanes at the intersection until police were able to clear the scene.

No further details have been released at this time. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
