Chatsworth, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash on Mt Carmel Church Rd Leads to Injuries
Chatsworth, GA (September 20, 2021) – Before 8 a.m. on Monday morning, September 20, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Chatsworth.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened at 2568 Mount Carmel Church Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons in front of the North Murray High School. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured as a result of the crash. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. This led to delays until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
