Chatsworth, GA – Serious Car Crash at GA-225 & Bright Rd Intersection
Chatsworth, GA (August 16, 2022) – Injuries stemmed from a severe car accident that took place at an intersection in Chatsworth on Tuesday morning, August 16.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of GA-225 and Bright Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area after rain storms when they entered the intersection at the same time and collided with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the collision. The injured parties were rushed to local hospitals for treatment. A medical helicopter was on-scene so that it could take injured parties to the hospital.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
