Chatsworth, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on Smyrna Ramhurst Rd Leads to Injuries
Chatsworth, GA (June 14, 2021) – At 7:30 p.m. on the evening of Monday, June 14, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Chatsworth.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened on Smyrna Ramhurst Road. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more drivers lost control. The vehicles forcefully collided, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries. Medical helicopters were called to the scene to take the victims to the hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in numerous lanes until police cleared the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision at this time.
