Chatsworth, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision with Injuries at GA-225 & Central Way
Chatsworth, GA (March 19, 2022) – Before noon on Saturday, March 19, a multi-vehicle collision took place at an intersection in Chatsworth.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-225 and Central Way. Four or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they became involved in a forceful collision due to reasons that are not yet known. Two of the vehicles, identified as a silver sedan and a pickup truck, sustained front-end damage in the accident. The pickup truck was photographed off the side of the road.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
