Chatsworth, GA – Car Crash at GA-225 & New-Hope Church Rd Intersection
Chatsworth, GA (December 11, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, December 11, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Chatsworth.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-225 and New-Hope Church Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with each other. The involved vehicles sustained heavy damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
