Chatsworth, GA – Car Accident on GA-52 Leads to Injuries
Chatsworth, GA (July 2, 2021) – Around 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, July 2, a car accident with injuries occurred in Chatsworth.
According to Murray County officials, the accident happened on GA-52. Police reported that three vehicles were involved in a forceful pileup due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was completely blocked until police cleared the scene. This caused extensive traffic in the area.
