Chamblee, GA – Car Accident at Peachtree Industrial Blvd & Johnson Ferry Rd
Chamblee, GA (August 18, 2021) – At 8:52 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, August 18, a car accident happened at an intersection in Chamblee.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Johnson Ferry Road. Two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions and identities are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, multiple lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
