Chamblee, GA (July 7, 2021) – At 10:34 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, July 7, a car accident happened at an intersection in Chamblee.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Johnson Ferry Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time, which led to delays in the area.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
