Cedartown, GA – Serious Car Accident at GA-278 & Grady Rd
Cedartown, GA (August 21, 2021) – On Saturday, August 21, a serious car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cedartown.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-278 and Grady Road. The driver of a Dodge Challenger was traveling in the area when a Chrysler pulled out from a private driveway without seeing the Dodge. The two vehicles forcefully collided with each other, ejecting the driver of the Chrysler.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was taken to the hospital by ambulance and another was airlifted for treatment of unknown injuries. Their identities have not been revealed at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, the intersection was blocked for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
