Cedartown, GA – Man Dead, Two Hurt in Two-Car Crash on GA 113 at Covered Bridge Rd
Cedartown, GA (October 17, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, October 16, a man was killed in a fatal car accident in Bartow County.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the 37-year-old man was driving a 2000 Toyota 4Runner and attempting to turn left from Highway 113 northbound onto westbound Covered Bridge Road. At that time, the driver of a white 2020 Ford F-450 was traveling in the right lane of southbound 113 and collided with the Toyota SUV.
Both vehicles then left the west side of the roadway, hitting multiple signs. The driver of the Toyota suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the F-450 and his passenger sustained minor injuries.
The accident, which occurred around 2:45 p.m., remains under investigation.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
