Cartersville, GA (May 14, 2021) – On Friday, May 14, a two-vehicle crash took place at an intersection in Cartersville.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Porter Street and Summit Street. Two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were injured as a result. They were rushed to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
