Cartersville, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision on Morningside Dr Leads to Injuries
Cartersville, GA (November 23, 2021) – On Tuesday, November 23, a two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Cartersville.
According to Cartersville Police, the accident happened at 51 North Morningside Drive around the area of the local Ross Dress for Less. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, sustained neck injuries in the accident. The injured victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
