Cartersville, GA – Traumatic Injury in Workplace Accident on N Tennessee St
Cartersville, GA (January 6, 2022) – In the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 6, injuries were reported in a workplace accident in Cartersville.
According to Cartersville officials, the accident happened at 1202 North Tennessee Street at an unnamed business near a shopping center. An employee at the business was working with heavy machinery when he was suddenly pinned under the machinery due to reasons that are not fully known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The worker, who has not yet been identified, was seriously injured when their legs were pinned under the machinery. They were rushed to the hospital with traumatic injuries, though their current condition is not yet known.
The area was blocked for some time as the worker was rescued.
