Cartersville, GA – Serious Injury Accident at US-41 & Gaddis Rd
Cartersville, GA (December 11, 2021) – At 3 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, December 11, a serious injury accident occurred at a Cartersville intersection.
According to Bartow County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Gaddis Road and US-41. Two vehicles were traveling on the road in rainy conditions when they collided forcefully with each other. One of the vehicles sustained heavy front-end damages as a result. The vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the collision, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
