Cartersville, GA – Serious Car Crash Involving Pickup Truck on Paga Mine Rd
Cartersville, GA (May 6, 2022) – Authorities confirmed that a serious car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Cartersville past a river on Friday afternoon, May 6.
Two vehicles, concluded Cartersville Police, collided on Paga Mine Road past the Emerson River Bridge around noon. Photographs taken at the scene showed two vehicles collided due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles, identified as a white Ford pickup truck, was severely damaged. Several people were standing outside the vehicles when police arrived.
Local paramedics and Cartersville Fire crews responded to the scene to offer help to the victims of the collision. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Traffic was backed up for a short period of time in the area as police worked to clear the scene and bring traffic under control.
