Cartersville, GA (November 22, 2022) – One person sustained serious injuries in a car accident that took place on a highway in Cartersville on the morning of Sunday, November 20.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident happened around 5:05 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of mile marker 297. Police confirmed that a Jaguar F-Type was traveling north on the highway when a second vehicle merged into their lane. One person inside one of the involved vehicles sustained a broken neck and was critically injured. The unidentified party was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter but their current condition is not known. Police have also not confirmed the conditions of the other parties.
The roadway was blocked in several northbound lanes of traffic for some time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.

We offer our warmest sympathies to the party who has been seriously injured in the accident.
