Cartersville, GA – Rollover Crash at Mac Johnson Rd & Rudy York Rd
Cartersville, GA (August 23, 2021) – At 9:22 p.m. on the night of Sunday, August 22, a rollover crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cartersville.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Mac Johnson Road and Rudy York Road. Two or more vehicles collided at the intersection, causing one of the vehicles to forcefully overturn. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The victims were extricated from the rolled vehicle. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police cleared the scene.
