Cartersville, GA – Rollover Accident Leads to Injuries on Sugar Valley Rd
Cartersville, GA (July 14, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, July 14, a rollover accident occurred on a roadway in Cartersville.
According to Cartersville Police, the accident happened on Sugar Valley Road. A black pickup truck was traveling in the area when the driver of the vehicle lost control, crashing off the side of the road. The vehicle flipped over following the crash. This led to extensive damages to the pickup truck.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene. At least one person had to be extricated by fire crews. Several victims were injured due to the accident. One party had to be taken to a hospital by medical helicopter due to severe injuries.
The roadway was completely blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
