Cartersville, GA – Rollover Accident Leads to Injuries in NB Lanes of I-75
Cartersville, GA (July 26, 2022) – A serious car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Cartersville around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26.
Cartersville Police were immediately called to the scene of the accident, where they found that two or more vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of I-75. Police did not confirm what stretch of the highway the accident happened in but photographs showed that a pickup truck flipped onto its hood as a result of the collision. The vehicles involved sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and other Cartersville responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. Several parties were allegedly injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were treated by paramedics at the scene and then transported to local hospitals.
The roadway was blocked in multiple northbound lanes of traffic for some time after the accident. This led to delays until the scene was fully cleared.
