Cartersville, GA – Rollover Accident Leads to Injuries in NB Lanes of I-75

Cartersville, GA (November 30, 2021) – At 1 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, November 30, a rollover accident with injuries occurred in Cartersville.

According to Cartersville Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles, identified as a white passenger vehicle, rolled over and was extensively damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. They reported that all of the parties were able to free themselves before their arrival. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, several lanes of traffic were blocked around the area of mile marker 292.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
