Cartersville, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-75
Cartersville, GA (July 8, 2021) – At 3:22 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 8, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Cartersville.
According to Bartow County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Cassville White Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the crash, though their conditions are not known.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic, which led to moderate delays in the area for some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
