Cartersville, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near Old Allatoona Rd
Cartersville, GA (May 14, 2021) – Around 5 p.m. on the evening of Friday, May 14, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Cartersville.
According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Old Allatoona Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The area was blocked for some time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
