Cartersville, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Leads to Injuries
Cartersville, GA (September 25, 2021) – On Saturday, September 25, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on a highway in Cartersville.
According to Bartow County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of mile marker 302. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured as a result of the collision. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. Police also confirmed that Highway 41 was blocked due to people attempting to bypass the crash for some time.
