Cartersville, GA (April 21, 2021) – On Tuesday night, April 20, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Cartersville.

According to local officials, the accident happened on Cassville Road around the area of Sugar Valley Road and Parr Wade Road. Two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous local responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was completely blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those traveling through to avoid the area until they cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
