Cartersville, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision Leads to Injuries on I-75
Cartersville, GA (August 31, 2021) – At 7:13 p.m. on the evening of Monday, August 30, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Cartersville.
According to local police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of mile marker 304. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One person, who has not yet been identified, was injured in the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of a broken leg.
The roadway was blocked in two lanes until police were able to clear the scene.
